What is the AMP Foundation Tomorrow Fund?

The AMP Foundation Tomorrow Fund is a program to support projects that undertake a community initiative or inspires others to achieve.

Background

The AMP Foundation Tomorrow Fund is giving amazing Australians doing great things the chance to share in $1 million in grants. It’s open to individuals of all ages, walks of life and interests who have invested time and effort into reaching a goal that will positively impact the community, but need help to take it to the next level.

Since 2014, the AMP Foundation has awarded grants to over 300 Tomorrow Makers working in fields as diverse as art, athletics, science, social innovation, music, medical research and more.

Funding

Grants ranging from $5,000 to $100,000 will be awarded later in 2021 for a range of activities, including training, travel, equipment and research.

Eligible Activities

Grants can be used for a range of activities, including travel, equipment, study costs, research and more. Anything that can help you reach your goal with positive community impact will be considered for funding.

Eligible Applicants

Australian citizens and permanent residents of all ages, working in any field – from art to technology, science to social innovation and sport, film, fashion, music, medicine and more – can apply for a grant. The program is looking for for Tomorrow Makers – individuals who can make a difference in the community, either by creating something special or inspiring others.

The program recognises the power of an individual to create change, so organisations cannot apply. However, individual founders of small grassroots charities, small businesses or other groups can apply but must provide evidence that they are still the driving force. So too, researchers who are working within a larger team or institution can apply for a grant, but the funds must advance the individual’s work.

Applications close 9 June 2021.
