Up to $15,000 is available from Touring Grants to help organisers of auto, motorbike or walking tours to encourage visitors to travel around Tasmania.
Events Tasmania Touring Grants
Touring grants are available to eligible organisers of auto, motorbike, cycle or walking tours in Tasmania during the winter and shoulder season. Funding is based on the number of interstate or international participants staying in paid commercial accommodation for five nights or more, with 40 percent or more of the tour being held in regional areas.
Background
Events Tasmania is committed to increasing the number of people coming to Tasmania, and ensuring that they travel around the state while they are here. As part of meeting these objectives, Events Tasmania is offering incentives to organisers of motor vehicle, motorcycle, and cycle tours that come to tour around Tasmania.
