Investing in Manufacturing Technology grants of up to $250,000 are available on a competitive basis to assist manufacturers to purchase and integrate new technologies that will:

improve productivity and competitiveness;
strengthen capability; and
encourage wider and ongoing innovation.

Abey received a grant of $250,000 to buy high-tech equipment that will increase exports by $500,000 per year.	Keech received a grant of $141,700 to purchase a 3D digital printer for prototyping and pattern making	AMR Hewitts received a grant of $135,000 to purchase a new forme cutting machine to reduce turnaround times .	Osteon received a grant of $74,000 to purchase a 5 axis simultaneous CNC milling machine.

Funding

The IMT grant provides grants of up to $250,000, allocated on a competitive basis. All grants require a minimum co-contribution from the business of 75% of total eligible project expenditure (i.e. $3 for every $1 granted).
