Local Capability Fund (LFC) PROCURE South West Round
The Local Capability Fund (LCF) PROCURE South West round is targeted at SMEs in the South West region of Western Australia. It is designed to support business activities which improve competitiveness and capability and enable businesses to participate as suppliers of products, services and works to State Government agencies and the defence sector.
The Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation (JTSI) has launched a second round of the Local Capability Fund (LCF) that is designed to support activities which assist SMEs in the South West to improve their commercial engagement with the State Government agencies and defence-related markets in Western Australia.
Up to $20,000 in dollar-for-dollar funding will be made available for eligible businesses to not only prepare, but to better position themselves to be both competitive and capable to respond to future project demands across the State and further afield.
The level of funding support under this specific round of the LCF is 50% of eligible costs up to a maximum of $20,000 per successful applicant.
Funding will be provided for:
- expert consultancy fees
- improvements to internal business infrastructure / systems.
Activities may include the implementation of Australian or international standards, market entry planning, equipment acquisition, upgrade or modification and the purchase of specialist applications software.
To be eligible, you must:
- have an Australian Company Number (ACN) or an Australian Business Number (ABN)
- employ less than 200 people
- have a turnover of between $250,000 and $100 million
- have your business headquarters based in the South West region of Western Australia.
