What is the Small Business Skills Hub?
The Small Business Skills Hub has been set up to provide COVID-19 impacted small businesses with free online courses and training to assist them in their recovery efforts.
This project has been developed by GO1.com, a proudly Queensland founded and headquartered education technology company, in partnership with the Queensland Government.
Background
The Small Business Skills Hub has been developed by GO1.com with support from the Queensland Government to deliver free online training and learning opportunities for COVID-19 impacted small businesses.
With short courses covering everything from IT skills through to sales and marketing and leadership skills, the Small Business Skills Hub provides free on-demand learning to business owners.

The Go1 courses are bite sized learning that works for small businesses. Courses can range from 5 minutes to hours and includes many different learning types such as, video, text, interactive with quizzes. This is a simple and easy way to start developing skills.
Objective
The aim of the Small Business Skills Hub is to aid in the recovery of Queensland small businesses impacted by COVID-19 through the delivery of free, on-demand, online training.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must:
- be a COVID-19 impacted Queensland small business
- have less than 20 staff
- have a registered Australian business number (ABN)
Given the diversity and short nature of the courses provided in this hub, the training provided does not come with a recognised qualification (e.g. diploma, certificate or bachelor level qualifications).
